(Consider, Silas, Consider, Nathaniel, Isaac, Isaac, Thomas, Robert). Daughter of Consider Cushman and mary (Buffin) Cushman. Mrs. Submit Cushman Sibert, 96, of 247 W. Church st., East Canton, one of the community's oldest residents, died Friday at her home after a short illness. She was a native of Tyner, Ind., and had resided in East Canton 75 years.Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Fleeta Cooper, East Canton and Mrs. Dru Whipple and Mrs. Cecil Berry of Canton; two sons, Harry, Van Nuys, Calif., and Raymond of the home; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great- grandchildren. Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Myers funeral home in East Canton with Rev. Robert Updegraff and Rev. Peshing E. Pyle officiating. Burial will be in Reformed Cemetery in East Canton. It was organized on September 21, 1866 at Fort Riley, Kansas as part of an expansion of the regular army following the demobilization of the wartime volunteer and draft forces. He died at age 22 and was in Troop B 7th U.S. Calvary. He was from Chautauua, NY. He was a farrier.88 Photo of stone is at Find A Grave. I think the inscription on the group stone in the Riverside Cemetery, Westville, Franklin Co. NY is basically a monument as it records the births and deaths of several family members.
